WESTBOUND I-8 CONNECTOR RAMPS TO NORTHBOUND AND SOUTHBOUND SR-125 CLOSED SATURDAY NIGHT

August 4, 2017 (La Mesa) -- Caltrans maintenance crews will close the connector ramps from westbound Interstate 8 (I-8) to northbound and southbound State Route 125 (SR-125) Saturday at 10 p.m. until 10 a.m. Sunday for bridge joint repair work. 

Detour signs will be posted directing motorists on westbound I-8 to exit at Grossmont Center Drive/La Mesa Boulevard, turn left onto La Mesa Boulevard and then turn left on to Grossmont Blvd to northbound or southbound SR-125. 

Caltrans reminds drivers to ‘Be Work Zone Alert’ by avoiding distracted driving, paying constant attention to traffic, and slowing down when approaching work zones.
