August 16, 2014 (El Cajon)--Raymond Lutz, national coordinator of Citizen Oversight Projects (COPs), will   present his message regarding the proposed $3.3 billion settlement before the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) at a public meeting on August 21, 2014, at 7 p.m.  The East County Democratic Club (ECDC) is the host for the event.   The site is Coco’s Restaurant, 1025 Fletcher Parkway, El Cajon.

June 17, 2014 (El Cajon)—A film by Robert Reich, Inequality for all: On behalf of the middle class will be shown June 19 at the East County Democratic Club’s meeting.  The film won a special jury prize at the Sundance Film Festival and highlights economic inequality in America.
