February 23, 2022 (Boise) - The San Diego State men's basketball team had a one-point lead with 24 second to play but couldn't convert a pair of free throws with seven seconds left, which would have given it a three-point lead and lost 58-57 to the Boise State Broncos on Tuesday night in ExtraMile Arena.

February 20, 2022 (San Diego) - Maggie Balint struck out a career-high 14 batters and San Diego State captured its third consecutive Campbell/Cartier Classic in a 3-0 victory over California Baptist Sunday afternoon at SDSU Softball Stadium. It was the second straight one-hit shutout for the Aztecs (9-2), who now own a Campbell/Cartier Classic-record six titles.

February 19, 2022 (Fresno) - Chad Baker-Mazara scored a season-high 20 points, the San Diego State Aztecs held the Fresno State Bulldogs to its fourth lowest shooting performance of the season and SDSU cruised to a 61-44 victory on Saturday night in the Save Mart Center.

February 19, 2022 (San Diego) - San Diego State picked up a pair of victories over Army West Point and Southern Utah on the third day of the 31st annual Campbell/Cartier Classic Saturday night at SDSU Softball Stadium. The Aztecs (8-2) first knocked off the Black Knights (1-3) 7-3 before one-hitting the Thunderbirds (0-9) in an 11-0, five-inning victory in the nightcap.

February 18, 2022 (Berkeley) - The Aztec lacrosse team (1-1) earned their first win of the 2022 season with a 15-6 win at Cal (0-3) Friday evening.

SDSU trailed 3-1 in the first quarter but then went on a 4-0 run and never relinquished the lead and put the Golden Bears away by outscoring them 7-1 in the fourth quarter.

February 16, 2022 (San Diego) -  Maggie Balint struck out 11 batters, and San Diego State took advantage of its two hits in the game in a 3-1 win over San Diego Wednesday night at SDSU Softball Stadium. The Aztecs (5-1) are now 57-6 all-time against the Toreros (3-3).

February 15, 2022 (Rancho Santa Fe) - The Aztecs finished the Lamkin Invitational Tuesday afternoon, placing 10^th in a loaded field that featured nine ranked teams. Freshman Anika Sato was SDSU’s top finisher, tying for 12^th with a 222 (+6). Sara Kjellker finished one stroke behind her, placing 15^th.

February 12, 2022 (San Diego) - The San Diego State women’s tennis team ran its home win streak to eight matches and continued its best start since at least 1994, with a 7-0 victory over Cal Poly. The Aztecs improved to 5-1 this season and have outscored its opposition 27-5 during that stretch.
