March 20, 2022 (San Diego) - Mac Barbara hit a grand slam, Taylor Adams had a three-run homer, and Allie Light and Dani Martinez combined on a one-hit shutout to give San Diego State a 13-0, five-inning victory over Colorado State for the series sweep Sunday afternoon at SDSU Softball Stadium. The Aztecs (19-10, 3-0 MW) have won a season-long five consecutive games.

March 18, 2022 (Peoria, Ariz.) - Baseball.  Is.  Back.  The regular season may have been pushed back due to the lockout, but a deal has been reached and baseball is back and that means the Padres are back.  Today, they had their first spring training game as they took on the Mariners in Peoria.  Marco Gonzales started for the Mariners against MacKenzie Gore.

March 12, 2022 (San Diego) - San Diego State cruised to a 4-1 win over Penn on Saturday afternoon at the Aztec Tennis Center.  Bunyawi Thamchaiwat was huge for the Aztecs (7-4) in the win over Penn (8-5) on Saturday afternoon. She defeated the No. 96 ranked player nationally in singles play and helped take down the No. 41 ranked doubles team in doubles play.

March 11, 2022 (San Diego) - The San Diego State softball team lost in extra innings to Weber State 4-3 on the second day of the Torero Classic Friday afternoon at USD Softball Complex. The Aztecs (14-10), who defeated the Wildcats (18-5) 9-1 in six innings on Thursday, committed a season-high four errors in the game today, which led to all four WS runs.

Competing as an individual, Townsend finished at 6-under 210 for the three rounds at the par-72, 7,033-yard San Diego Country Club.
