March 28, 2017 (Crest) -- Why do more than 3 million Americans practice an ancient healing art of Qigong from China?  Find out on April 4 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Crest Library (105 Juanita Lane, El Cajon).

Join author and Qigong Master Ken Cohen as he discusses the science, culture, and joy of qigong and leads you through some tranquil qigong meditations. Consisting of gentle exercises, breathing techniques, and meditation, it improves health and vitality, awakens the mind, and deepens your connection with nature.

Ken Cohen, MA (www.kennethcohen.com) is an internationally renowned author, health educator, and Master of both Qigong and Tai Chi. He was the first person to lecture about Qigong in U.S. medical schools and is the winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award in Energy Medicine. Ken's programs have been sponsored by the Mayo Clinic, The San Diego Chinese Historical Museum, the American Cancer Society, and numerous libraries and cultural organizations.
