RADICAL REPTILES AND FRIENDS SLITHER INTO CREST LIBRARY JUNE 10

 

June 5, 2014 (Crest) – Radical Reptiles & Friends will be bringing a menagerie to the Crest branch of the County library system on Tuesday, June 10 at 6 p.m.

Founded in 1996 by Ben Hian, Radical Reptiles & Friends has provided animal education and entertainment in San Diego County for nearly 14 years.  Joining Hian in 2007, John Taibe has helped Radical Reptiles & Friends  provide the children of San Diego County with a unique, hands-on experience including an ever-growing menagerie of snakes, lizards, turtles, tortoises, frogs, spiders scorpions , millipedes, insects & a variety of other “creepy crawlies.”

AUTHOR KURT KOONTZ AT CREST LIBRARY MARCH 11

 

March 6, 2014 (Crest)-- Kurt Koontz, author of A Million Steps, will be speaking and signing books at the Crest Library on Tuesday March 11th at 6pm.

A Million Steps recounts Koontz's journey across the 500-mile El Camino de Santiago, a Spanish pilgrimage route dating to medieval times. Those million steps inspired Koontz to write about his life-changing adventure when he arrived home.

After his remarks, Koontz will answer questions from the audience. Books will be available for purchase.

AUTHOR JOE NORIEGA TO SPEAK JUNE 11 AT CREST LIBRARY

     

 

June 6, 2013 (Crest)--U.S. Retired Marine and author, Joe C Noriega will discuss his new book “The Arizona Rangers” and will be available for book signing at the Crest Library at 6 p.m. on June 11.

This is Joe Noriega’s second book. His first book is titled “03 Why Me?” He is a freelance writer who is currently residing in El Cajon where he is a sharecrop farmer who plants red grape vines and makes red wine.
