November 11, 2018 (San Diego) - Lexington Thomas had 21 carries for 133 yards and two touchdowns, including a go-ahead 75-yarder with 3:27 to play, to help UNLV beat San Diego State 27-24 on Saturday night and snap a six-game losing streak.

Darren Woods Jr. had four receptions for 100 yards for UNLV (3-8, 1-5 Mountain West), which beat the Aztecs in San Diego for the first time since the 2000 season.

Ryan Agnew hit Tim Wilson Jr. for a 34-yard touchdown to give SDSU (7-3, 4-2) a 24-13 lead on the last play of the third quarter. UNLV answered with an 11-play, 75-yard drive capped by Max Gilliam's 10-yard TD pass to Brandon Presley with 9:19 to play. The Runnin' Rebels forced a punt and took over at their own 8. Four plays later, Thomas took the handoff up the middle, cut to the right sideline and then raced across the field to cap the scoring.
