February 27, 2020 (San Diego) - The Aztec women’s basketball team (14-16, 9-9) closed out the regular season with a dominating 81-68 win over Nevada (14-15, 7-11) on senior night Thursday evening. SDSU shot 49 percent from the field and scored a season-high 81 points while holding the Wolf Pack to 35 percent shooting and outrebounded them 43-32.

February 24, 2020 (Fort Collins, Colo.) - The Aztec women’s basketball team (13-16, 8-9) outlasted Colorado State (12-16, 6-11) 64-61 in overtime inside Moby Arena Monday evening.

The Aztecs, who trailed the majority of the game, were whistled for a foul at the buzzer at the end of regulation when the game was tied, but after a review the officials ruled that the foul occurred after the buzzer and the game went to overtime. In the extra period the Aztecs held the Rams to 1-for-8 shooting and got a stop in the final seconds to hold on for the win.

Taylor Kalmer and Sophia Ramos each posted season-highs to lead SDSU in scoring. Kalmer finished with a career-high 22 points and Sophia Ramos stuffed the stat sheet, finishing with 20 points, 10 rebounds and six assists. Baylee Vanderdoes recorded a double-double as well, recording 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Five Aztecs scored in double-figures, led by Téa Adams' 16. Mallory Adams had 15 points and Taylor Kalmer had 13. Zayn Dornstauder had 12 points and a team-high seven rebounds while Sophia Ramos added 10, all of which came in the second half, and dished out a team-best six assists.
