COUNTY ISSUES WARNING OVER BAGGED LETTUCE SOLD AT TRADER JOE’S : RECALL INCLUDES MULTIPLE BRANDS CONTAMINATED WITH E-COLI

 

November 18, 2011 (San Diego)--County health officials today urged residents to throw out Ready Pac bagged salad products containing romaine lettuce and stamped with a “Use by” Nov. 18 date because they may be contaminated with E. coli bacteria. The recall applies to the following items; some also carry other labels including Safeway. See ink at bottom of story for product photos:
