LA MESA CLASSIC CAR SHOW REVS UP STARTING JUNE 6

June 5, 2019 (La Mesa) – The La Mesa Classic Car Show season opens this Thursday, June 6 and will continue each week through August 29 from 5-8 p.m. (except July 4).  In addition to vintage pre-1974 cars, trucks and vans parked along La Mesa Blvd. between Spring Street and 4th Avenue, this free community event also features live bands, DJs, and awards for each evening’s best classic cars.  This Thursday, Four Way Street will provide live musical entertainment.

THE NEXT CAJON CLASSIC CRUISE IS SEPTEMBER 28

September 24, 2011 (El Cajon) -- It’s Monster Truck Madness at the next Cajon Classic Cruise, Wednesday, September 28.  The Classic Cruise will run every Wednesday night through October 26, with a special Holiday Parade of Lights Show on December 7, 2011.

 

This free event is located on East Main Street at the Prescott Promenade, just east of Magnolia Avenue.

ARRIBA! CAJON CLASSIC CRUISE CELEBRATES CINCO DE MAYO ON MAY 4

April 28, 2011(El Cajon) -- The theme next week for the Cajon Classic Cruise is Cinco de Mayo.  Featured cars from Latino car clubs and collectors will be on display in addition to the classic souped up, and dressed out cars always on display. Mariachis will be performing, and the downtown merchants will be serving Cinco de Mayo food and drink specials May 4 (a day before cinco de Mayo) from 5-9 p.m. Car Show Ambassador, Steve Lordigyan, a car collector himself, says "This night is always fun because we often see cars we rarely see throughout the season."

CRUISIN' GRAND: FRIDAY NIGHTS IN DOWNTOWN ESCONDIDO

September 5, 2010 (Escondido) – For San Diego classic car enthusiasts of all ages, the place to see and be seen on Friday nights is Escondido’s Cruisin’ Grand, a pre-1973 car-themed festival that attracts participants from across San Diego. The events also feature live music and vintage entertainment from hula hoops to a “Twister” contest.
