March 19, 2023 (Ramona) – The Ramona Senior Center will host a car show on Saturday, April 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Grace Community Church, 1234 Barger Place in Ramona (corner of San Vicente Road and Barger Place).

August 19, 2015 (Alpine)—The Kiwanis Club of Alpine is looking for some good cooks to enter its annual Alpine Kiwanis Car Show & Chili Cook Off set for Saturday, September 19. The fundraiser supports local children and the Alpine Community Center.

December 27, 2012 (San Diego)-- The New Car Dealers Association of San Diego brings once again the San Diego International Auto Show, among the largest in the nation and the second largest in Southern California, to the San Diego Convention Center now Thursday through Sunday. The show this year features some old stand bys such as the Jeep Experience, where you can ride in one of several Jeeps to highlight the abilities of these vehicles. This year I rode a Trail Hawk Special Edition and the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Limited, which is a four door model.

May 3, 2011 (El Cajon) – Drum Macomber of El Cajon is revved up over winning the “Best in Show Sycuan Casino Award” at last Wednesday’s Classic Cruise Night in El Cajon.
“I have owned the car for about seven years,” Macomber said of the 1963 Impala Super Sport that he purchased from the original owners with 132,000 miles.

Featured cars from Latino car clubs and collectors will be on display in addition to the classic souped up, and dressed out cars always on display. Mariachis will be performing, and the downtown merchants will be serving Cinco de Mayo food and drink specials May 4 (a day before cinco de Mayo) from 5-9 p.m. Car Show Ambassador, Steve Lordigyan, a car collector himself, says "This night is always fun because we often see cars we rarely see throughout the season."
