WIEGHORST MUSEUM PRESENTS ART SHOW, RECEPTION TO BENEFIT PROMINENT WESTERN ARTIST JACK JORDAN

August 18, 2017 (El Cajon) – Works by Jack Jordan, a distinguished El Cajon artist, art teacher and former art director of the Evening Tribune, will be displaced at the Olaf Wieghorst Museum (131 Rea Ave.) in El Cajon from September 9-28, with a reception on September 9 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.  This is a benefit event to honor Jordan and raise funds for the aging artist’s medical expenses.

ART SHOW AT THE WIEGHORST MUSEUM BEGINS JULY 3

July 3, 2012 (El Cajon) – The Wieghorst Museum Foundation is hosting an art show from July 3 through August 31, every Tuesday through Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  The participating artists include Jack Jordan, James Kermott, Mark Martensen, Ross Provence and Grace Schlesier.

ARMCHAIR IMPRESSIONISTS EXHIBITION NOVEMBER 1 - 30, 2011


November 2, 2011 (Rancho San Diego) -- The Armchair Impressionists, including Jeffrey Graham, Rustin Holec, David Lawhead, Karen Marsh, William Marsh, and guest artist Carol Harris, will feature their paintings November 1 - 30 at the Rancho San Diego Library.  Area residents are invited to join them at an artist’s reception, November 6 from 2 – 4 pm in the Community Room.

O’DUNN FINE ART EXPANDS OFFERINGS IN NEW LA MESA LOCATION

 

February 20, 2010 (La Mesa) – Leaders in the arts and business communities gathered Thursday for the grand re-opening of O’Dunn Fine Art, which moved into an expansive new space across the street from its original location in La Mesa’s downtown village.

PREMIER WESTERN , LANDSCAPE & PORTRAIT ARTIST JACK JORDAN HAS AUGUST SHOWING IN LA MESA

 

 

July 28, 2009 (La Mesa)-- Twenty oil paintings by El Cajon resident Jack Jordan are now on display through the end of August at the Dr. William C. Herrick Community Health Care Library, 9001 Wakarusa St. in La Mesa. The artwork includes landscapes, western themes and portraits. Jordan is a premier oil painter whose work has appeared in national magazines and many galleries in the U.S. and Mexico.
