WESTFIELD TO HOST “MUSIC MAKES ME DANCE” IN ESCONDIDO OCT. 3

September 25, 2011 (Escondido)  Westfield North County on Level one -Center Court, invites the public to celebrate “Music Makes Me Dance”  for the month of October. The program will feature music- and dance-themed Westfield Family Fun Days, kid and family-friendly activities celebrating music and instruments. 
 
On October 3 from 10:00-11:00, San Diego Children’s Museum will present a special nature program – leaf examination and acorn necklaces. Kids will design their own guitars to take home, and be read to from “Gwendolyn, the Graceful Pig” by David Ira Rottenberg and Lesley Anderson, as well as “Charlie Parker Played Be Bop” by Christopher Raschka. Along with this book, kids will be treated to a few Charlie Parker tunes, and as always, a healthy snack.  
 
October 17 from 10:00-11:00, will feature story time with books “Ella Sets The Stage” by Carmela D'amico and Steve D'amico, and “The Maestro Plays” by Bill Martin Jr and Vladimir Radunsky. Kids will design their own instruments - rainsticks and tambourines – and enjoy another healthy snack.
 
As a special treat, Tutti Frutti will be giving out VIP discount cards at the events.
