November 15, 2017 (San Diego) - San Diego State men’s soccer seniors Jeroen Meefout and Winston Sorhaitz were named All-Pac-12 Second Team and All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention selections, respectively, the league office announced on Tuesday morning. Meefout and Sorhaitz become the 69th and 70th players in program history to earn All-Pac-12 recognition since the Aztecs joined the league in 2005.

November 11, 2017 (San Diego) - While SDSU women’s soccer faced UCLA last night in the NCAA Tournament, their male counterparts squared off against the Bruins tonight in their final game of the season on Senior Night.  The male Aztecs...well, to put it nicely, aren’t doing so well this season; 5-13 overall and winless in Pac-12 play, going 0-9.

November 10, 2017 (Los Angeles) - San Diego State dropped a 3-1 decision at second-seeded and fourth-ranked UCLA on Friday in the first round of the NCAA Championship. The loss ends the Aztecs’ season and the Mountain West champions finish with a record of 12-8-2.

November 7, 2017 (San Diego) - San Diego State forward Aliyah Utush has been named to the Top Drawer Soccer National Team of the Week. The senior was one of five honorable mention selections after helping the Aztecs win the 2017 Mountain West Championship.

November 7, 2017 (San Diego) - With a bye week this week, SDSU football head coach Rocky Long invited some of the coaches of the other Aztec sports to join in on this week’s press conference. Women’s basketball senior guards Geena Gomez and McKynzie Fort and men's basketball junior guard Jeremy Hemsley were also on hand to answer a few questions.

November 5, 2017 (Stanford) - The San Diego State men’s soccer team wrapped up its 2017 road schedule at No. 4 Stanford on Sunday evening and fell to the Cardinal 4-0 at Cagan Stadium.

November 4, 2017 (Las Vegas) - San Diego State senior forward Aliyah Utush posted a hat trick to lead the Aztecs past New Mexico 3-0 in the Mountain West championship game Saturday night in Las Vegas. The win sends SDSU to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2014.

November 2, 2017 (Las Vegas) - Second-seeded San Diego State used a 48th-minute goal by Aliyah Utush and a stellar defensive effort to dismiss third-seeded Boise State, 1-0, in the Mountain West semifinal round Thursday afternoon in Las Vegas. The win secured the Aztecs a spot in the MW championship game and upped their record to 11-7-2.

November 2, 2017 (Berkeley) - Despite a standout performance from senior goalkeeper Adam Allmaras, the San Diego State men’s soccer team started its final road weekend of the season with a 1-0 loss at California on Thursday afternoon. The Aztecs fall to 5-12 (0-8 Pac-12), while Cal, which is receiving votes in the national rankings by United Soccer Coaches, improves to 10-5 (5-3 Pac-12).

October 30, 2017 (San Diego) - San Diego State, which owned the Mountain West’s top defense and one of the top scoring attacks, had two players named to the all-MW team and an additional pair voted to the all-newcomer squad, the league announced this afternoon.

October 29, 2017 (San Diego) - eroen Meefout and Tevenn Roux each tallied goals in San Diego State men’s soccer’s home contest against Oregon State, but the Aztecs fell to the Beavers, 4-2,  in Pac-12 play on Sunday afternoon. The Aztecs fall to 5-11-0 (0-7-0 Pac-12), while OSU improves to 6-11-0 (3-6-0 Pac-12).

October 28, 2017 (Alberquerque) - Freshman Mia Root provided the game-winning goal in double overtime to push San Diego State past New Mexico on the road Friday night 4-3 at UNM Soccer Complex. The victory helped the Aztecs secure the No. 2 seed and a quarterfinal bye into the semifinal round of next week’s MW Championship.

October 26, 2017 (San Diego) - The San Diego State men’s soccer team fell in tough-luck fashion on Thursday night, dropping a 1-0 decision to No. 23 Washington at the SDSU Sports Deck. The Aztecs fall to 5-10-0 (0-6-0 Pac-12), while the nationally ranked Huskies improve to 11-5-1 (4-3-1 Pac-12).

October 25, 2017 (San Diego) - Stacie Moran has been named to the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week. The senior is one of three defenders on the national squad and marks the second time she has been honored. The recognition comes two days after being named the Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week.

October 23, 2017 (San Diego) - San Diego State senior defender Stacie Moran has been named the Mountain West Women’s Soccer Player of the Week, the league announced Monday morning. The award is the first for SDSU this season and the third of Moran’s career.

October 22, 2017 (San Diego) - San Diego State cruised to a 3-0 victory over Colorado State in its regular-season home finale thanks to, in part, a two-goal performance by Mia Root and a two-assist effort by Aliyah Utush. The win moved the Aztecs to 9-7-2 overall and 6-2-2 in the Mountain West, while the Rams fell to 4-9-5 (2-5-3 MW).

October 22, 2017 (San Diego) - The San Diego State men’s soccer team celebrated its 50th Anniversary in exciting fashion Saturday night, defeating long-time rival Santa Clara, 3-0, at the SDSU Sports Deck. Senior Jeroen Meefout scored twice in the match, while junior Ilai Shvika posted a pair of assists to help set up the Aztec attack.

October 20, 2017 (San Diego) - Senior Aliyah Utush scored twice in a game San Diego State dominated as the Aztecs defeated Wyoming, 2-1, on Senior Night. The victory moved SDSU to 8-7-2 on the season and 5-2-2 in the Mountain West, while the Cowgirls fell to 7-8-2 and 3-5-1 inside the league.

October 15, 2017 (Los Angeles) - The San Diego State men’s soccer team put up a valiant effort in Sunday night’s contest, but fell in heartbreaking fashion in a 2-1 overtime setback at UCLA on Sunday night. The Aztecs are now 4-9-0 (0-5-0 Pac-12) on the year, while the Bruins jump above .500 in both their overall record (6-5-0) and Pac-12 record (3-2-0).

October 15, 2017 (Colorado Springs) - San Diego State scored in the sixth minute and never looked back in a 4-0 road victory over Air Force, which enter the game in second place in the Mountain West standings. With the decision, the Aztecs improved to 7-7-2 overall and 4-2-2 in the MW, while the Falcons dropped to 7-5-3 and 4-1-3 against conference competition.

October 14, 2017 (Colorado Springs) - San Diego State got behind early and had its rally fall short in a 2-1 road loss at Colorado College Friday afternoon at Stewart Field. The defeat dropped the Aztecs to 6-7-2 overall and 3-2-2 in the Mountain West, while the Tigers moved to 5-6-4 (2-3-2 MW).

October 8, 2017 (San Diego) - San Diego State for the second time in three days settled for a double-overtime draw, this time tying Fresno State, 1-1, Sunday afternoon at SDSU Sports Deck. The Aztecs are now 6-6-2 and 3-1-2 in the Mountain West, while the Bulldogs leave Montezuma Mesa with a 6-5-3 record (1-3-2 MW).

October 8, 2017 (Corvallis, Ore.) - The San Diego State men’s soccer team suffered a 2-0 setback against Oregon State at Lorenz Field on Sunday. The Aztecs fall to 4-8-0 (0-4-0 Pac-12) on the season, while the Beavers notch their first conference win of the season and improve to 4-7-0 (1-2-0 Pac-12).

October 6, 2017 (San Diego) - San Diego State and San Jose State played an exciting 110 minutes, but neither team scored as the game ended in a 0-0 draw. The result kept the Aztecs (6-6-1) and Spartans (6-5-1) knotted at 3-1-1 in the Mountain West, which is tied for third in the league standings with Wyoming and two points behind the conference leader New Mexico.

October 5, 2017 (Seattle) - The San Diego State fell to No. 22-ranked Washington, 3-0, on Thursday night. The Aztecs now stand at 4-7-0 (0-3-0 Pac-12), while the nationally-ranked Huskies improve to 9-2-0 (2-0-0 Pac-12) and extend their win streak to six.

October 1, 2017 (Boise) - San Diego State defeated Boise State, 2-0, at Boas Soccer Complex Sunday afternoon to sweep its trip through Logan, Utah and Boise, Idaho. The win moved the Aztecs to 6-6 overall and 3-1 in the Mountain West, while the Broncos fell to 7-5-1 (2-2 MW).

October 1, 2017 (San Diego) - The San Diego State men’s soccer team fell victim to a California goal with 11 seconds remaining in regulation after Cal’s set-piece opportunity from just outside the 18-yard box was originally ricocheted off the left post but collected by Shinya Kadono and put into the back of the net for a 1-0 Golden Bears victory.

September 28, 2017 (San Diego) - SDSU men’s soccer has had a tough going in the early season, but they are a .500 team at 4-4.  They opened conference play tonight at home on the SDSU Sports Deck against defending national champion Stanford.

September 24, 2017 (Edinburg, Tex.) - Behind a Kyle Adams fourth minute goal, the San Diego State men’s soccer team capped a perfect weekend in the Lone Star State, defeating Incarnate Word 1-0 on Sunday night. The Aztecs now head into conference play with an even 4-4 record, while Incarnate Word falls to 2-4-1 on the season.

September 24, 2017 (San Diego) - Aztecs women’s soccer faced UNLV for the first time at home this season today.  Keep in mind that UNLV is the same team that gave the Aztecs a crushing defeat in the Mountain West playoff game last year. The Aztecs hoped for a better result today.
