October 30, 2016 (San Diego) - The San Diego State rowing team competed in its first event of fall schedule on Sunday at the Race for the Cure, hosted by UCSD, which raised money for breast cancer research. The Aztecs faced host UCSD, USD, Orange Coast College (OCC) and ZLAC Rowing Club in their races.

October 29, 2016 (San Diego) - After dropping the opening two sets to league-leading Boise State, the San Diego State volleyball team found the deficit too much to overcome as it dropped a four-set decision to the Broncos Saturday evening on Aztec Court. Boise State prevailed by set scores of 25-19, 25-21, 14-25, 25-23.

October 28, 2016 (San Diego) - San Diego State fell in disappointing fashion, dropping a 2-1 overtime decision to New Mexico on Senior Night. The Aztecs, who dominated in every facet of the game except the one column that counts, fell to 8-7-3 overall and 6-2-3 in the Mountain West. The Lobos, meanwhile, finished their season at 9-7-3 (5-5-1 MW).
