August 25, 2022 (Long Beach) - San Diego State women’s soccer scored two goals in the final eight minutes to earn a 2-2 draw at Long Beach State on Thursday evening at George Allen Field. Denise Castro tallied her fourth of the season and Poway High alum Trinity Coker scored her first collegiate goal to earn the Aztecs a 2-2 draw.

August 25, 2022 (Los Angeles) - The Aztec men’s soccer team fell to CSUN 2-1 in their season opener Thursday evening. It was SDSU’s first non-conference loss since October of 2019, snapping a streak of nine straight undefeated contests.

August 12, 2022 (San Diego) - Fernando Tatis Jr., so close to working his way up back to the big-league roster after being injured, has been suspended for the remainder of the season after testing positive for Clostebol, a performance-enhancing drug, according to MLB.com.

Tatis Jr. claims he was using Clostebol to treat ringworms. According to the National Institute of Health, steroid creams or ointments such as Clostebol can be used for ringworms if it is not used alone, but in combination with anti-fungals.
