TROLLEY STRUCK BY MOTORCYCLIST IN SANTEE

 

March 23, 2014 (Santee)--  A motorcyclist was arrested last night after a pursuit crash in Santee that injured the motorcyclist. Deputies from the Santee Station tried to pull over the motorcyclist on westbound Mission Gorge Road for a traffic violation. The motorcyclist sped away, and then crashed into a SDMTS Trolley on the green line at the intersection of Mission Gorge Road and Cuyamaca Street just after 5 p.m.

June 20, 2012 (San Diego) – Amid vocal community opposition, the city of San Diego’s  Planning Commission will soon consider whether to approve a zoning change  that would allow the proposed  gas-fired Quail Brush power plant to be built next to Mission Trails Regional Park. The public  hearing will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 9 a.m. in the City Administration Building, 202 C Street, 12th floor in downtown San Diego.

January 21, 2012 (Santee) – The 2012 holiday season may be almost a year away, but Santee Santas are getting an early holiday gift.  The all-volunteer, non-profit organization that has been bringing the spirit of the holidays to the Santee community for more than fifty years was informed that they will be the recipients of a $1,000 cash donation from Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market.
