February 12, 2021 (San Diego) - Head coach Bill Zack has released the 2021 schedule for the Aztec rowing team. SDSU will compete in six competitions, with four happening in the San Diego area.

February 10, 2021 (San Diego) -  Jordan Schakel had 24 points as San Diego State rolled past San Jose State 77-55 on Wednesday night.

Terrell Gomez had 13 points for San Diego State (15-4, 9-3 Mountain West Conference), which earned its sixth consecutive victory. Lamont Butler added 11 points. Matt Mitchell had seven rebounds.

February 10, 2021 (San Diego) - Head coach Shelia Burrell has released the San Diego State track and field schedule for the 2021 outdoor season. The Aztecs will compete in eight meets (three at home) before beginning their postseason competitions. San Diego State joins other Mountain West programs with foregoing the indoor season.

February 10, 2021 (Rancho Santa Fe) - Sara Kjellker tied for second Tuesday to lead the San Diego State women’s golf team on the final day of the Lamkin Invitational at The Farms Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif. The Aztecs ended up finishing in a tie for fourth out of 11 teams on the par-72, 6,318-yard layout in their first competition since March 10-11, 2020.

Including the 23 that signed in the early signing period in December a total of 25 athletes will join the Aztecs for the 2021 season.

January 30, 2021 (San Diego) – Skiing, snowboarding and sledding are classified as outdoor activities during the pandemic, so ski resorts are open.  At Snow Valley Mountain Resort in Running Springs, located in the San Bernadino Mountains just north of San Diego, 24 to 30 inches of new snow fell overnight. That’s on top of 29 inches of fresh snow Friday atop the summit at 7,841 feet a 25 inches at the base.

“Winter is definitely back!” John Brice at SnowSports.com says, adding that in addition to heavy snowfall, “We’ve been making snow nightly to help build up our base of snow!  With the natural snow, more terrain is now open including Bubble Gum, Surprise Run, Race Peak and more.  Check out the open trails report below for more information.”

January 27, 2021 (Westlake Village, Calif.) - Thanks to a gutsy final day that saw the San Diego State men’s golf team post the best score by seven strokes, the Aztecs rallied for the team title Wednesday at the Southwestern Invitational presented by Topgolf. SDSU finished the tournament at 10-over-par 874 to beat Arizona State (+13) by three shots at the par-72, 6,992-yard North Ranch Country Club.
