October 1, 2016 (El Cajon) — You’re invited to the first-ever “Made in East County” Manufacturing Expo on Tuesday, October 4 from 3-6 p.m. at the San Diego Air & Space Museum ANNEX, 335 Kenney Road at Gillespie Field, in El Cajon. The event , which is free to the public, gives manufacturers an opportunity to "show their stuff” to the local community in one location.
The community, especially students and job seekers, get to see who and what’s in their community, what manufacturing looks like today, as well as job opportunities and career paths they offer.
Some of the major manufacturers attending: GKN Aerospace/Chem-Tronics, Taylor Guitars, QCMI, Computer Integrated Machining, Fox Factory, RCP Brick & Block and more!
Organizers of the event include the East County Economic Development Council, San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce, and the San Diego Workforce Partnership.
Sponsors include California Bank & Trust, GKN Aerospace/Chem-Tronics, Parkway Plaza, SDG & E, Taylor Guitars, US Bank, City of El Cajon, and City of Santee.
