March 9, 2012 (El Cajon) -- How do students save on the expense of prom? By attending the 2012 Fashion Show and Prom/Grad Expo on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Valhalla High School theatre. This event is sponsored by the Valhalla High School Cheer Program. All students, parents, and the Grossmont High School community are invited to attend.
Runway fashions featuring the latest in prom fashions will be provided by PreVue Bridal & Formal, Hermz, Couture Formal, and Friar Tux. The models will have their hair and makeup done, and will be wearing jewelry and accessories provided by the vendors.
There are over 30 vendors attending offering their services including gowns, tuxes, fun fashion, shoes, tanning, teeth whitening, photography, event planning, invitations, jewelry, hair styling, makeup, DJ, photo booths, a digital art wall, and an onsite party bus. There will also be vendors with delicious cupcakes and pizza. There will be exclusive prom/grad night offers and discounts for all students and parents who attend the Expo. Tickets for the event are $5 at the door, and include one raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets are available at $5 each or $20 for an arms-length.
