52ND ANNUAL BORREGO DAYS DESERT FESTIVAL: BLOOM IN BORREGO OCT. 18-20

September 23, 2019 (Borrego Springs) -- The 52nd annual Borrego Days Desert Festival in Borrego Springs will be blossom Friday through Sunday, October 18- 20th. This year’s theme is “Bloom in Borrego” to pay homage to the beauty of Borrego Springs and the surrounding 600,000 Anza Borrego Desert State Park. Festivities include a parade, live music, arts and crafts, kids’ activities and much more.

Following local events around town on Friday night, pre-parade activities start at 9 a.m. Saturday included a traditional flyover by a variety aircraft before the parade rolls out at 10 a.m. The parade features floats, Western trick-riding cowboys and their horses, marching bands,  plus classic cars with the Borrego Springs queens and princesses.

 

At Christmas Circle, you can visit booths offering artwork, handmake goods, crafts and foods. There’s also a carnival fun zone for kids and for adults, a beer garden and live music to dance into the sunset and under the clear starry night sky.

 

Admission and parking are free.  The Festival is centered at Christmas Circle Community Park, 600 Christmas Circle Drive in Borrego Springs.

 

The weekend hours are Saturday 9 a.m to-5:30 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
