November 9, 2018 (Alpine) - The glowing 23rd Annual Alpine Village Christmas Parade of Lights & Snow Festival is going to be bigger and better than ever on Friday, Dec. 7 in AlpineShining holiday lights will decorate every entry in this hometown, award-winning parade that starts down Alpine Boulevard at West Victoria Drive at 6:30 p.m.  Almost 100 entries, including decorated pets, children, floats and big trucks, have registered so far.  

Presented every year by the Alpine Mountain Empire Chamber of Commerce, the parade ends at the free Snow Festival --- with real snow and sledding--- in the Alpine Creek Town Center at 1347 Tavern Road.  Vendors, children’s activities and food for sale will be available.

 

“I want to invite everyone to come to the parade and snow festival,” said Chamber Executive Director Alex Ward.  “Have fun, enjoy everything. Thank you to all our volunteers, sponsors, Chamber members, law enforcement, organizations, agencies, and others who have made this holiday celebration possible.”

 

This year’s major sponsors are Barons Market, Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc., and San Diego Gas & Electric Co.
