March 29, 2010 (Alpine) – An Alpine woman drove away a winner at Viejas Casino over the weekend, taking home a new Smart Car.
Barbara L. (last name withheld on request) won the Smart Car when her name was drawn Sunday evening from a drum full of entries of players at Viejas Casino during the month of March.
“I am still in shock,” said the lucky winner, who added that she plays at Viejas Casino about four times a week. “I’ve won lots of times before, but never anything as great as this,” she added, praising the people who work at the casino for their friendly attitude. “Winning this Smart Car is just incredible. I’m still on a cloud.”
Viejas even picked up the taxes, license and other fees for Barbara.

Woah, good for Barbara, she's a really lucky girl. Anyone can't possibly win a smart car on casinos. And I admire the Viejas Casino for giving away smart car and not just any other kind of cars. It's really hard to convince people to buy smart cars. Good thing that the casino is like endorsing everyone to buy the like. Smart cars, for everybody's information, has a lot of advantages especially in urban areas where people take up one and a half parking spaces with their FUVs. And repair shops are also into smart cars nowadays. They even have auto repair calculator only for these cars and I think that they are planning to have more inventions for smart cars so that people will be more convinced to turn into this technology.
