ARCHAEOLOGY WEEKEND IN ANZA BORREGO DESERT STATE PARK MARCH 25-26

March 4, 2017 (Borrego Springs) - The Colorado Desert Archaeology Society (CDAS), in conjunction with the Anza-Borrego Foundation, will be holding its 14th annual Archaeology Weekend event at the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park ’s Visitor Center in Borrego Springs, California on March 25-26, 2017. 

The theme of this free event is “Celebrating the 21st Birthday of the Colorado Desert Archaeology Society” and will include presentations, displays, activities for kids, archaeology lab tours, hands-on-pottery making and field trips. Native American crafts will be for sale and a silent auction will be held on March 25th to raise funds to assist CDAS in its mission of protecting & preserving the Park’s cultural resources.
