ARREST MADE IN MURDER OF WOMAN FOUND BURIED IN BOULEVARD

October 22, 2014 (Boulevard)—David Williams was arrested in Lakeside on Saturday, October 11th by the San Diego Regional Fugitive Task Force. He is charged with the murder of Christine Crosby, his former girlfriend whose body was found buried in a shallow grave just east of Mile Marker 29 on Old Highway 80 in Boulevard.

Christine Crosby was last seen by a friend on July 5th, 2011. About two weeks later, Crosby was reported missing to the San Diego Sheriff's Department. Her found was found two weeks later.   The Medical Examiner's Office determined the manner of death to be from strangulation and her cause of death to be homicide, but it took nearly three years for an arrest to be made.

On October 10, 2014, the District Attorney's Office filed formal charges against Williams, a construction worker.  According to ECM news partner 10 News, she was last seen leaving Viejas Casino on a motorcycle with Williams.  She had been slated to testify against Williams in a domestic violence case when she disappeared.

Williams is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday, October 15, at 1:30 p.m. at the East County Regional Center - Superior Court.
