Update April 21: The suspect surrended late last night, following a five-hour stand-off.
April 20, 2012 (San Diego)— Bank robbery suspects are barricaded inside a home at 8761 Blue Lake Drive in the Lake Murray/San Carlos area.
“Police have set up a perimeter and a SWAT team sargeant is at the scene evaluating the case,” Lt. David Stafford with San Diego Police told East County Magazine, adding that the SWAT team has not yet been requested.
Lt. Stafford said the incident is related to an earlier bank robbery in El Cajon.
Around 4 p.m. today, U.S. Bank at 2840 Fletcher Parkway was robbed and a weapon was displayed, Incident Page Network reported.
