May 22, 2014 (El Cajon)—ACES, the El Cajon Animal Center for Education and Services Fooundation,  is holding “Barkitecture 2014”, an animal house auction on  June 1st at O’s American Kitchen, Parkway Plaza from 5 to 7 p.m. The Aces Foundation is a  501c3 formed to assist the El Cajon Animal Shelter.

‘Animal houses’are being custom built and donated to assist ACES fund raising efforts.  The donors this year include El Cajon Police Chief Jim Redman; Heartland Fire Chief Rick Sitta; Drum Macomber and St. Madeleine Sophies Center.   If you would like to join us for this years auction, visit the ACES Website,www.acesfoundation.org, click on the ‘Barkitecture’ heading and you can purchase tickets online.

Tickets are $25 and this includes food and drink; DJ Jumpin Jack Flash will be entertaining the crowd, along with assistance for Coe Lewis from KGB radio who will also be one of the judges for the auction houses.  The other 3 judges are El Cajon Councilmembers Tony Ambrose and Starr Bales, as well as Majed Al-Ghafry, City of El Cajon Assistant City Manager.

Proceeds from this event solely benefit the El Cajon Animal Shelter.
