Club Barona members can save 50 percent on entrees at Casino restaurants throughout September


August 19, 2010 (Lakeside) –Barona Resort & Casino won’t leave its guests hungry for sweet specials this September. Throughout the month, Barona is offering its Club Barona members the opportunity to receive 50 percent off any entrée at six of its signature restaurants. Joining Club Barona is free.

 

 

The discounted dining deal is good for up to two guests after earning 500 Club Barona myPOINTS at Barona’s 2,000 slots and more than 80 table games. Within the same day, Club Barona members must swipe their Club Barona card at a kiosk to print out a Barona Restaurant Month coupon. 

 

“Barona’s September Restaurant Month allows our guests to visit our array of award-winning eateries at an extraordinary deal,” said Rick Salinas, general manager of Barona Resort & Casino. “From authentic Mexican and Italian fare to traditional comfort food and casual California cuisine, there’s a fun and affordable dining experience to satisfy every appetite.”

 

The participating restaurants include the signature Barona Steakhouse, The Plaza, refreshingly relaxed Sage Café, spicy El Rancho Grande and home-style Italian Cucina. Seasons Fresh Buffet, with all-you-can-eat dining, also will offer the half-off pricing for both lunch and dinner. Alcohol and to-go orders are not included in the special.

 

Barona offers guests San Diego dining at its best. The casino resort’s award-winning culinary team has created distinctly different menus at each of the six dining establishments and several casual eateries while maintaining its commitment to fresh ingredients and locally grown produce. Leading the Barona culinary team and overseeing each restaurant is Executive Chef Jim Phillips who was recently honored with the coveted “Gold Medallion Award” for Chef of the Year by the California Restaurant Association (CRA), San Diego Chapter.
 

The casino resort is also serving up delicious meals for only a buck with its special “Dollar Deals.” Highlights of the menu items include assorted dim sum from the Ho Wan Noodle Shop; donuts, cup of coffee and pastry from the Barona Coffee Company; and juicy hamburger, French fries and chicken fingers at Feisty Kate’s. Other affordable options include casual dining in The Plaza, Italian Cucina and authentic Mexican cuisine at the El Rancho Grande.
