BAVARIAN FESTIVITIES AND A TRIO OF BIER HALLS AT LA MESA OKTOBERFEST OCT. 4-6

September 15, 2019 (La Mesa) – Get your Lederhosens ready – the 46th annual La Mesa Oktoberfest is gearing up for over 100,000 revelers celebrating German traditions over three full days of free festivities October 4-6.

This year’s event features 3 bier halls including a new Palm Avenue bier hall location with flowing pints of craft beer and Oktoberfest games. Bring your dancing shoes to step lively to Der Deutsch (Germany’s national dance) the chicken dance and more, with traditional and non-traditional music options. Savor authentic food, festivities and family-friendly activities such as a German Kinder Karneval complete with Ferris wheel, rock-climbing wall, inflatable slides, interactive art, brat-eating competitions, scavenger hunts and the ever-popular wiener-dachshund races.

There will also be a fashion show plus over 200 vendor booth with everything from handmade crafts to holiday-themed décor.

Arrive early for seating at the beer gardens, or treat yourself like a German king or queen with an upgraded Hofbrauhaus Bier Garten VIP pass ($5-$45) which includes front-of-the-line privileges, a commemorative stein, chicken hat or flower crown, drinks and more.  

Hours:  

Friday, Oct. 4th 4 p.m.- 10 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 5th 10 a.m.- 10 p.m.

Sunday, Oct. 6th 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
