July 12, 2014 (San Diego’s College Area) – Bistro Sixty, located on El Cajon Boulevard near San Diego State University, is hosting a wine dinner on July 18 feature a “decadent six-course dinner” along with Hill Family Estate wines.
The 6-course dinner with pairings is a fixed price ($70/person plus tax & tip). Reservations are required. The menu includes:
Course 1: Amuse-Bouche
cantaloupe soup shooter + sauvignon blanc
Course 2: Appetizer
grilled scallops with saffron cream sauce + chardonnay
Course 3 : Entrée
herbed lamb roulade with merlot jus & yukon gold/melted leek gratin + merlot
Course 4 : Main
braised chicken thighs with green olives & pomegranate molasses + barrel blend
Course 5 : Encore
roasted quail with barley & roasted tomatoes + cabernet
Course 6 : Dessert
ginger pudding with fresh berries + late harvest sauvignon blanc
