BODY FOUND IN JAMUL; HOMICIDE INVESTIGATING

August 15, 2010 (Jamul) –A U.S. Border Patrol agent checking a brushy area just east of Honey Springs Road happened across a body last night at 6:25 p.m. The male victim and significant signs of trauma, which appeared inconsistent with a natural death. San Diego Sheriff homicide detectives are investigating and the Sheriff’s Crime Lab responded.

The victim has not been identified. No additional description was available, according to a press release issued by Lt. Dennis Brugos in the Sheriff’s homicide detail.
