April 4, 2019 (Lakeside) – A Smart and Final store at 13439 Camino Canada, near Los Coches Road in Lakeside was evacuated this morning after a caller claimed there was a bomb in the building, says Sgt. Scott Hill with the Sheriff’s department.
Deputies notified neighborhood businesses out of an abundance of caution, but they opted to remain open. The parking lot was closed outside Smart and Final while a search of the store and lot was conducted, but nothing suspicious was identified and the store reopened.
