BOO BASH CARNIVAL OCT. 29 OFFERS SAFE HALLOWEEN AT KROC CENTER

October 23, 2011 (Rolando)--The Salvation Army Kroc Center will present its annual BOO BASH on Saturday, October 29 from 3 – 6 p.m. at The Salvation Army Kroc Center Recreation Field, 6845 University Avenue (at 68th St) in San Diego.

The event is free for members with a membership card and children under 3 years old, or $2.00 per guest. Proceeds will help replenish The Kroc Center Family Services Emergency Food Pantry.
 

Hundreds of local children all dressed up in their Halloween duds, are invited to celebrate the Halloween holiday in a safe and family-friendly environment.  The haunt less jaunt promises hours of festive fun, including cookie decorating, pumpkin decorating, carnival games, bounce houses, trick-or-treating, snacks, ice skating, costume contests, and more. 


The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center is a 12.4 acre family support, education, recreation, and cultural arts center, made possible by a generous gift by the late philanthropist Mrs. Joan Kroc.  The facility is open to members and the general public and serves residents of East San Diego, La Mesa and Lemon Grove with a variety of quality programs for individuals of all ages.

The Center is open to members and the general public. Facility rental, volunteer, and sponsorship opportunities are available.
