East County News ServiceJune 2, 2024 (La Mesa) -- Join Mounarath Powell Dance for Broadway Bound Summer Camp on July 8-20, 2024 - performance based camp for ages 8-18.
Participants will have the chance to dance, sing, and act moments from Broadway musicals! Students will learn from experienced instructors, get a chance to perform with professionals, and have a great time!
Camp runs Monday through Friday from 8am to 3pm for two weeks (July 8-12 and July 15-19). There will be time allotted for water and snack breaks throughout the day as well as a lunch break. Campers are to stay at the camp the whole time and those who enroll are signing up for both weeks and the performance. This is a performance based camp and the days will consist of warm-up activities, acting exercises, voice lessons, dancing, rehearsals, and more!
Camps are open to all levels of dancers, actors, and singers ages 8-18. Located at 8674 La Mesa Blvd. La Mesa, CA 91942. Studio enrollment is not required. Performance will be Saturday, July 20 more details TBA.
