CAJON VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT LAUNCHES NEW MULTILINGUAL ACADEMY

May 1, 2015 (El Cajon)  Cajon Valley Union School District announces launch of a multilingual program at the CVUSD Language Academy.  The program will offer students who speak English or Spanish as their first language the opportunity to learn to read, write, and communicate in English and Spanish, learn computer programming, and a fourth language.

From transitional kindergarten through eighth grade, students in the CVUSD Multilingual Program will receive an educational program in three or more languages which will cover language skills, literacy, mathematics, natural and social sciences, and technology.

El Programa Multilingüe en la Academia de Lenguaje de Cajon Valley les ofrecerá a los alumnos que hablan inglés o español como su primer idioma la oportunidad de aprender a leer, escribir y hablar en inglés y español, aprender programación de computadoras y un cuarto lenguaje. Desde el kínder transicional hasta el octavo grado, los alumnos en el Programa Multilingüe de CVUSD recibirán un programa educativo en tres lenguajes o más que abarcará destrezas de lenguaje, lecto-escritura, matemáticas, ciencias sociales y naturales, y tecnología.
