CALIFORNIA'S FIRST DUNKIN' DONUTS AND BASKIN-ROBBINS COMBO DRIVE-THRU

RESTAURANT TO OPEN ON APRIL 7 IN RAMONA

New Ramona restaurant to commemorate grand opening with ribbon cutting, giveaways and more

March 26, 2015 (Ramona) – Soon, Ramona residents will be able to dip and dunk in a single stop.

Dunkin’ Donuts, a popular stop nationally for coffee and baked goods, and Baskin-Robbins, the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty shops, will bring their first Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins combo drive-thru restaurant in the state of California to Ramona residents. Located at 1410 Main St., the restaurant will open at 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, and attendees will enjoy a free medium hot or iced coffee promotion on opening day.

As part of the opening day festivities, the first 100 people to order will receive a Dunkin' Donuts tote bag filled with special items, and the first person in both the walk-in and drive-thru lines will be rewarded with free coffee for one year. Guests will also be greeted with free passed samples, photo opportunities with adored brand mascots, Cuppy and Coney, and special giveaways throughout the day.

The Ramona franchise will be operated by SAWS LLC, owned by Southern California resident Mike Stout. The franchisee has plans to develop several additional standalone Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in San Diego County.

Local city dignitaries will be in attendance to commence the ceremonial grand opening ribbon cutting and welcome Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins to the neighborhood. The Ramona opening will also include two $1,500 check presentations to the Ramona Food and Clothes Closet and Cornerstone Therapeutic Riding Center.
