CELEBRATE THE NEW YEAR AT WESTFIELD NORTH COUNTY WITH FREE WESTFIELD FAMILY FUN DAYS

 
January 6, 2012 (North County San Diego) --  On Monday, January 16, at 10-11a.m., North County area families are invited to  join Westfield North County and the Westfield Family Program for Family Fun Days featuring "Cultural Traditions". They will explore how other cultures celebrate the New Year and hear classic folktales from around the world.

January 16 will feature classic folktales with "Tikki Tikki Tembo" by Arlene Mosel and Blair Lent.  If you don't already know Tikki Tikki Tembo-no sa rembo-chari bari ruchi-pip peri pembo -- you certainly will soon.  The second book, "May I Bring a Friend?" by Beatrice de Regniers and Beni Montresor, is a Caldecott-winning children's book exploring the tradition of English tea. Children will enjoy a fun snack, face painting, and create cups to take home.
