CELEBRITY LINEUP ANNOUNCED FOR MOTHER GOOSE PARADE THIS SUNDAY

November 22, 2019 (El Cajon) – Always the Sunday before Thanksgiving, the 73rd annual Mother Goose Parade this Sunday at 1 p.m. will draw thousands of spectators lining the parade route along Main Street through downtown El Cajon to see their favorite TV and movie celebrities as well as marching bands, floats, equestrian units, large helium balloons and more.  Here are the celebrities lined up:

 
NIMI ADOKIYE: Nimi is a Nigerian actress who is best known from the films: Girls Night Interrupted, Blackbird, Day of the Mummy, Alien Rising, and Women of Heart Baptist Church. She has also been seen on such television shows as Murder Book, Cry Wolfe, Masters of Sex, We The People with Gloria Allred, and America's Court with Judge Ross. Upcoming film projects include: The Owl in Echo Park, A Broken Chain, and The Tower in the Servant.
 
SCOTT BUTLER: Scott Butler is a multi-award-winning actor from London, England. Scott played the role of "Oliver" in the critically acclaimed AMC network series "Lodge 49", starring Paul Giamatti, Bruce Campbell, and Cheech Marin. He also had roles in the Lionsgate release "Wiener Dog Internationals", starring alongside Morgan Fairchild, Bryan Batt and Jason London and the Warner Bros released "16-Love", starring Lindsey Shaw and Chandler Massey.
 
VINCENT DE PAUL: Vincent is a TWO TIME EMMY WINNER, actor & producer best known from The Bay (Amazon Prime), where he is RECURRING as Father Leon. He is also well-known from supporting roles in the feature films: Riding in Cars with Boys, Poseidon, Walk A Mile in My Pradas, Defending Santa, Merry Ex-Mas, A Beverly Hills Christmas, and This Is Our Christmas. He has also appeared on such shows as: House of Cards,
 
MARYAM MYIKA DAY: Actress, writer, and TELLY AWARD WINNING PRODUCER, and host of new podcast, North of 40, which just dropped on iTunes and Spotify last month. Maryam has most recently appeared in a supporting role in the feature film SMARTASS, starring Joey King of FX's Fargo (currently airing on iTunes), and penned the untold story of Tammi Terrell for the upcoming biopic MOUNTAIN HIGH, starring Kat Graham of Vampire Diaries and All Eyez On Me.
 
SERENITY RUSSELL: Serenity is 5 years old and while new to the industry she has already done several print jobs and was seen on the Halloween episode of Fresh Off The Boat! She also just recently wrapped a crowdfunder trailer for a new feature film!! She just signed with the exclusive Abrams Artists Agency! Serenity is the reigning West Coast Fabulous Faces 0-4 Grand Supreme & My Royal Crown 0-5 Overall Beauty Supreme.
 
 
*The Theme for the Mother Goose Parade is "Legends, Past, Present & Future!" Each parade chapter is led by a different local legend - somebody who has forever shaped our community, touching our hearts and lives.

Starting with Mother Goose!
 
Radio legend Shotgun Tom Kelly. “Shotgun has been entertaining Southern California radio and TV audiences for over 45 years. He has worked at such renowned radio stations as KGB and gained national acclaim at the legendary KCBQ, and at CBS Radio’s K-EARTH 101 in Los Angeles.  In 2013, he received a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!
 
San Diego Padre 2nd baseman Greg Garcia is a graduate of Valhalla High School and a true east county native, living in San Diego with his wife and young daughter. Greg has made his way onto the Padres’ clutch leaderboard and into the hearts of Friar fans. 
 
The world-famous San Diego Chicken!  Ted Giannoulas has been the San Diego Chicken for over 45 years - becoming the most influential costumed sports mascot of all time!
 
San Diego TV Legend Ken Kramer, a long-time host of the popular Television show "About San Diego" - seen on KPBS and KNSD. Ken's "About San Diego” has been honored with numerous Emmy and Golden Mike Awards!
 
We're honoring East County legend Bobbi Brink, founder, and director of "Lions, Tigers & Bears" in Alpine.  Lions, Tigers & Bears is San Diego's only Big Cat Rescue and Education Center.  Bobbi has over 50 rescued animals, including lions, tigers, and bears, at her no-breed, no-kill facility, offering a lifetime home to abused, abandoned and confiscated animals. Honoring San Diego's first female Air Traffic Reporter & San Diego's first Television Air Traffic Reporter Monica Zech.
