CHAMBER ORGANIZES EDUCATORS' TOUR TO PERU

January 13, 2011 (San Diego's East County) -- Local educators are invited to join the San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce on a trip to Peru July 11-19.  

 

Tour highlights will include:

 

 

 

* Two school visits with question and answer sessions with teachers an an official from the education department

* Sightseeing tour of Lima

* Internal flight to Cusco with tour of city, Plaza de Armas and cathedral

* Full-day excursion to the colonial villages of Pisac and Ollantaytambo, Sacred Valley of the Incas

* Full-day excursion to Machu Picchu with guided tour of ruins, museums and monastery, previoulsy the Koricancha Temple

* Traditional Peruvian dinner at La Dama Juana with live show and dances from different regions of Peru

Tour also includes round-trip airfare from San Diego, round-trip executive class rail service in Peru, internal flights, first class accommodations, daily breakfasts, dinners and lunches, sightseeing/entertainment program, educators component, deluxe motor coaches, baggage handling, transfers, and all taxes/surchases.

Cost of the trip is $2499 per person, with a $550 deposit required by March 1st and final payment due by May 1st.  Rates are double occupancy, plus air taxes.
