CAL FIRE offers the following tips to help keep your Christmas season joyful--and safe.
- Never place candles on the Christmas tree.
- Avoid placing your tree near the heater or other appliances.
- Keep the tree in water, a dry Christmas tree will burn with incredible speed, a room can be engulfed in flames and smoke in moments.
Be fire-safe, not sorry!
