CLERK FOILS TEEN GUNMAN

pril 28, 2011 (Kensington) – A clerk refused to hand over cash to a suspect armed with a handgun last night at the New Money Express, 4202 El Cajon Blvd. in San Diego’s Kensington neighborhood east of the college area. The would-be robber, described as a black male juvenile age 15-17 with short curly black hair, showed the clerk a handgun in his waistband, according to Officer David Stafford with the San Diego Police.

The suspect fled on foot without the cash. There were no injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
