

April 1, 2014 (San Diego) – Organizers of the College Area Taste invite you to treat your taste buds to a culinary adventure on Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event will showcase over 22 diverse dining destinations in the College Area. Scout out new favorite eateries and visit your regular go-to spots as you satisfy your stomach with scrumptious samples from quaint cafés to budding bistros around the ever-evolving College Area.
You can work up an appetite on this self-guided walking tour. Whether you prefer spicy, authentic Mexican food, mouth-watering Hawaiian food, gastropub fare or something more exotic, the College Area has it all! Satisfy your sweet tooth with delightful desserts, such as everyone’s favorite, frozen yogurt and ice cream, or quench your thirst with a plethora of choices in bountiful supply. Stop into Top #10 Oriental for sushi bites or try pulled pork sliders at Effin’s Pub & Grille and Margherita Pizza at Social Life Pizza. Indulge in delicate Florentine Cookies, quiche and fresh, homemade soup from the Living Room Café.
With an undeniably friendly neighborhood feel, charming storefronts, exhilarating atmosphere and tasty restaurants, you’re sure to have a “Sunday Funday,” for which your stomach will certainly be grateful! With all that walking, you may want to rest your weary feet. The Old Town Trolley will come to your rescue! Hop aboard the recognizable old-fashioned, green and orange trolley that will be roaming through the College area to assist you when you need a lift from one food experience to the next.
