November 7, 2016 (San Diego) - Listen to San Diego Combat Veterans share their experience fighting for our country at a town hall hosted by Congresswoman Susan Davis at the Balboa Park Club at 2144 Pan American Road in San Diego from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. November 10.

The community event, developed by Sebastian Junger (Journalist and anthropologist, “Restrepo”) and Rep. Seth Moulton D-MA (USMC Infantry), seeks to bring the combat veteran and non-veteran communities together for a solemn evening of warrior story-telling. The non-judgmental gathering supplies a space where the combat veterans may connect with their families, friends and neighbors and share of their experiences endured in the rigors of armed combat. The presence and listening role of the non-veterans is equally important-- the Town Hall allows folks from the community that haven’t fought in war the opportunity to bear witness to the accounts and understand more of what is done by America’s sons and daughters on the nations’ behalf to combat the violence worldwide that seeks to be perpetuated in the streets.
