COTTONWOOD GOLF ANNOUNCES UPCOMING TOURNAMENTS

March 19, 2014 (El Cajon) – If you’re ready to get in the swing of things this spring, Cottonwood Golf has announced a series of golf tournaments in April, May and June. Many of these events will benefit local charitable causes, from children’s programs to wounded veterans to the Mother Goose Parade.  In addition, Cottonwood will host brunch in its garden area each Sunday through June 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with mimosas or champagne for adults and a menu with child pricing.  Cottonwood is located at 3121 Willow Glen Drive in EL Cajon. April 5 – 2nd Annual Lakeside Rodeo Golf Tournament will be held at Cottonwood Golf Club, 3121 Willow Glen Drive, El Cajon. Proceeds from the four-person scramble tournament will benefit scholarships for students in Lakeside . Entry fee is $125 per player. Entry fee includes green fee, cart, range balls, and dinner. April 7 through 10  – Junior Golf Clinic for boys and girls ages 6 to 15 will be held at Cottonwood Golf Club, 3121 Willow Glen Drive, El Cajon. Hours are 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. $149 fee covers teaching, range balls, short game, golf swing, etiquette, rules, competition, sportsmanship, and fun. April 10  – Mother Goose Parade Golf Classic will be held at Cottonwood Golf Club, 3121 Willow Glen Drive, El Cajon. Proceeds will benefit the 2014 Mother Goose Parade. Entry fee is $100 per player. May 4 – Tanner Askey Washington DC Fundraiser Golf Tournament will be held at Cottonwood Golf Club, 3121 Willow Glen Drive, El Cajon. Proceeds from the four-person scramble tournament will benefit Tanner Askey's spring break trip with his school in 2015 to our nation's capital and New York City. Entry fee is $90 per player. May 5  – 9th Annual Duncan L. Hunter Wounded Marine Golf Classic will be held at Cottonwood Golf Club, 3121 Willow Glen Drive, El Cajon. Proceeds from the four-person scramble tournament will provide wounded military personnel at Navy Medical Center, San Diego . Entry fee is $99 per player.
