COUNTY PARKS HOSTS “SWEETHEART SELFIE CONTEST”: WIN A WEDDING AT FLINN SPRINGS

February 5, 2016 (Flinn Springs) -- Snap a selfie with your sweetheart at a San Diego County park for a chance to win a ceremony and reception at one of the County’s premier outdoor wedding destinations. Deadline to submit photos is Friday, February 12th. One lucky couple will receive:

 

• Choice of Ceremony Location at Flinn Springs

• Choice of Reception Location at Flinn Springs

• Bridal Staging Suite

• Chairs and tables for up to 100 guests

• Reserved parking for up to 100 guests

• Waived catering fee

• Waived electricity fee

Plan your ceremony under a canopy of ancient oaks or in a white gazebo fronting a bridge and bubbling creek... Flinn Springs County Park is the perfect setting for a rustic and romantic outdoor occasion.

RULES AND FINE PRINT

Selfie must feature two people at a San Diego County park (search sdparks.org). Send photos to askparks.lue@sdcounty.ca.gov by 11:59 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, 2016. Winners will be announced Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016. They will be notified via email and their photo will be posted to the County Parks Facebook page.

Winners will receive the following park amenities and services at NO COST: ceremony location, reception location, bridal staging suite, chairs and tables for up to 100 guests (upgrade fees may apply), reserved parking for up to 100 vehicles, catering  permit and electricity permit.

The wedding must take place between March 1, 2016 and March 1, 2018. If a wedding is not possible on the winners’ preferred dates, this award can be applied to another special occasion at Flinn Springs County Park within the designated timeframe.
