February 16, 2013 (El Cajon)--Cuyamaca College's Ornamental Horticulture Department is hosting its 5th Annual Sustainable Landscape Conference, "Air, Earth, Water, Fire," from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013, at the college's Performing Arts Theater. The $90 registration fee covers the conference, a trade show, and a continental breakfast and lunch.

Jeff Fulgham, chief sales officer at Banyan Water, Inc., a San Francisco-based water management consulting firm, is the keynote speaker. A 29-year veteran in the water industry, he previously was the chief sustainability officer and Ecomagination director at GE Power and Water, where he partnered with customers, organizations, and governments to increase awareness of current water challengers and solutions, and the need to implement water reuse technologies.  Fulgham, a frequent speaker on water and power topics, notes that "green is green - doing what's right for the environment is also economically smart."
