DAY OF DIGNITY EVENT TO HELP HOMELESS AND LOW-INCOME FAMILIES NOV. 4 IN CITY HEIGHTS

October 23, 2017 (City Heights) -- Somali Family Services and Islamic Relief will host the fourth annual Day of Dignity Community Resource Fair on November 4th from 12-4 p.m. at the Officer Jeremy Henwood Memorial Park (3795 Fairmount Ave, San Diego).

The Day of Dignity aims to provide resources and services to the low-income and homeless community residing in City Heights. Over the last three years, Day of Dignity has benefitted over 2,000 City Heights’ residents.

This year, low-income families and local homeless will receive items such as food, school supplies, clothes, blankets, and hygiene kits. They will also receive pertinent information/resources and services including health screenings, social service resources, energy saving, and more.
