DRIVER DIES IN VEHICLE FIRE ON FLETCHER PARKWAY

October 4, 2019 (El Cajon) – A white Nissan Kick drifted onto the center divide in the 2800 block of Fletcher Parkway in El Cajon at 2:24 a.m., striking a tree, witnesses told police. The vehicle caught fire, also igniting the tree.

Firefighters arrived and quickly extinguished the fires, then found the body of the driver inside.
 
“It is unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol were a factor in this collision,” says Lt. Jason Taub with El Cajon Police. He says no other persons or vehicles were involved.
 
The El Cajon Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding this collision to call (619) 579-3311.
