June 30, 2010 (La Mesa) – Last night at 11:43 p.m., a driver in La Mesa collided into a parked vehicle, causing a chain reaction collision in the 5300 block of Baltimore Drive.
The driver, an adult woman, was taken by ambulance to Sharp Memorial hospital for treatment. A woman in a second vehicle suffered minor injuries. Five vehicles were struck during the accident.
Cause of the accident is under investigation by La Mesa Police; it has not yet been determined whether or not alcohol may have been a factor.
