EDITOR OF SAN DIEGO VOICE AND VIEWPOINT TO SPEAK AT “HISTORY ALIVE” THURSDAY IN LEMON GROVE

February 5, 2019 (Lemon Grove) – Lemon Grove Historical Society will hold a fireside chat this Thursday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. with Dr. John Warren, publisher and editor of San Diego Voice & Viewpoint, covering San Diego’s African-American community.  His presentation is titled “Things I Remember” with eye-opening observances of events past and present. 

The event will be held in the in the H. Lee House, 3205 Olive, Lemon Grove.

 We'll have the fireplaces on, comfy chairs and lots of good people,” says Helen Ofield, president of the Lemon Grove Historical Society.   

Parking is free in Civic Center Park or on Olive Street. Arrive early at 6:30 to be sure of a seat.
